The next morning we changed hotels...did I mention that we had gotten bumped from the Gaylord as they had over-booked their hotel...I have NO IDEA how that happens anymore...don't they have computers...don't computers do math...I made my reservations back in July...anyway...we moved hotels and checked into the Gaylord...our rooms weren't ready yet so we stowed our luggage and walked around the hotel...got totally LOST...had NO IDEA where we were at...that place is HUGE!
Once we received the call that our rooms were ready we hiked across the hotel and went in...we were chatting as we entered the two separate rooms and I said I'll open the door...as they were "adjoining", walked in looking for a door...you guessed it...NO DOOR...par for the course of my stay in Nashville so far...Got bumped to another hotel...No adjoining room, which we had specified on our reservations and specifically requested again at check-in...so I called down-stairs...it will be a bit before our REAL rooms are ready...so we went back out for more exploring of the hotel. Another phone call...we are finally able to settle in our ADJOINING rooms...
Now it is time to start getting ready for the Manager's Reception...can't wait to attend that...it was one of my MAIN REASONS for wanting to go to Leadership...it is such a perk and Stampin' Up! spoils us...so I changed...you know I had to...and got ready to have a wonderful time...we got down to the reception area where we were suppose to wait for the buses. While we were waiting the Stampin' Up! staff handed out cowboy hats they had embellished with our Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon and our Antique Brads...Here is a photo of me waiting in "The Loading Zone"
We had NO IDEA where we were headed...but it was soon revealed...the WildHorse Saloon...they had these horses everywhere...they were so cute...this one was a bit "tipsy"
This one was just so manly....and I couldn't resist giving him a little peck on the cheek...
There was LOTS of great music and dancing and one of my roomies caught TWO T-Shirts that they were throwing to the line-dancers and she gave me one of them...here is the back of it...
Well...This post is SO LONG...that I will end it now...and continue on with my Leadership saga tomorrow...Those of you that I saw and chatted with at Leadership and those of you that I didn't who read my blog...let me know...leave a comment...let me know you are out there...sometimes...okay a LOT of the time I think I am just jabbering to myself...
Happy Stampin'
