Once we got to Riverton whcih was about 20-30 minutes away from the Convention Center...I lost track of the time as I was looking at the NEW catalog...We went in and looked through the Legacy Display Rooms...The rooms are little settings of how we could use SU! products and our unlimited imaginations to create and decorate things...Here are some photos of things that I REALLY liked and I would LOVE to duplicate some of them...
Here is the first thing that I LOVED...This advent calendar...it was really BIG...and so cute...might have to make myself one...
On the floor in this room was a little stand with more stars and some cute little paper ornaments, that we now know were made with some of our new dies for the Sixxix Big Shot.
On around the corner was another "room" and I really fell in LOVE with some of the pieces. Here is a really simple one framed nicely and it just makes a nice decoration.
Then right beside that was THIS...How simple is this??? TOO Cute!! I might have to find one of these bell jars at IKEA tomorrow...I am hoping...but don't quote me on this because I have no 'extra' knowledge...that these butterflys are going to be new dies for the Big Shot...LOVE the one on the front of the new catalog.
How about this SIMPLE decorting idea...Photos in glass jars...the glass jars magnify the photos just a bit...I need to do this...one for each kid.
Underneath the shelf that the last two items were sitting on was a bench...between the bench and the shelf was this large piece of sheet metal with S, M, T, W, T, F, S with magnets and clips...CUTE...CUTE...CUTE!! to keep your week straight so you don't forget anything!
Only took a couple of photos in this room. I really liked how they put the leaves under the clear plates on the dining room table.
AND...How about this SIMPLE trick...DS paper on old door panels...
The next room was a sewing/crafty room...Loved how they wrapped the ribbon and DS Papers around the wooden spools.
And how about this 'faux' window...curtain valance is DS papers...
Here is one last one from this room...LOVED this shelf, LOVED EVERYTHING on this shelf...just wish it was in my house and I could have someone come in and dust it off once a week so it would stay looking this nice!
Here is another cute room. This room was done using stamps and acrylic paints...LOVE the border at the top!
OKAY...Here was my FAVORITE thing that we saw in the Legacy Display Rooms...LOVE this old glass paneled door with the DS Papers, Photos and the Decor Elements word 'happiness'. I SO want to recreate this. I have the word 'family', DS Papers, and plenty of photos...all I need is the door...I just need to find someplace in Sacramento, CA that I can get an OLD door CHEAP! Leave me a comment if you know of someplace!
Then we went on through the facility and I took a couple of photos of the Distribution Center. This is where ALL of the SU! orders are shipped from...
We had told them as the boxes were rolling past us on the line that a few of them were being shipped to the WRONG address...they needed to come here...to my house...to await my return so I could play with the stuff...we got to look down in them...most of the stuff that was being ordered was retiring stuff so it didn't hurt my feelings TOO much when the boxes went on to their rightful demos...
Well...I hope you enjoyed the photos of the Riverton Legacy room and the whole TWO photos of the Distribution Center...we had a really good time and I am looking forward to seeing what new stuff they have in store for us in the Legacy Room next year! Thanks for sticking with me during this LONG post...Happy Stamping!
